Deliciously Dreamy, Yin yoga is a practise that is transformative and beautifully compliments a more yang and dynamic practise such as Vinyasa Flow. It is a deep meditative practise that will cultivate a profound sense of stillness and quiet in your mind and will leave you feeling open; physically, mentally and emotionally. And if you’ve never been good at meditating -don’t worry the power of the yin poses will lull you into a sublime state of peace and relaxation… No previous experience necessary.
Yin yoga consists of luscious stretches which are usually held from between 3 to 5 minutes. These stretches caress and cajole the deep connective tissues of the body- the fascia, tendons and ligaments, which literally open up your body, leaving you with a renewed sense of softness and spaciousness.
Yin is a powerful practise that allows your mind and body to slowly unfurl, peeling off layers of heaviness and accumulated tension in your mind and body allowing you to yield deeper to who you truly are.
